THE JOURNEY TO PEACEFULNESS

My journey didn't begin in a temple, but in the heart of chaos. After years of navigating a fast-paced world, I came across a meditation teacher and learned how to connect with the present moment. As my practice evolved I discovered that the most powerful anchor exists within our own breath.

 

I’ve been practicing meditation/mindfulness for over 35 years. It’s the most important thing I do for myself and everyone and everything else. It’s that passion and belief that have lead me to teach others. A born seeker I’ve studied and practiced many forms of meditation and mindfulness including Vedic and Yogic studies, buddhism, taoism, shamanism and indigenous wisdom and many others. My seeking has taken me all over the world but more importantly deep inside. I've been fortunate to have countless teachers some very well know and many less so but just as wise.

 

I've received a great deal of formal and informal training and have several types of certification and training but my greatest training and teacher is the the inner world my practice has taught me to access. The wisdom I've gained by cultivating connection with this source has given me the greatest gifts. It is these insights that I feel called to share.  Having over 30 years experience as an educator and and a meditator gives me a the tools and experience to introduce people to developing or enhancing their own practice.

 

Despite my experience I still consider myself a novice and enjoy teaching because it keeps me in touch with a beginners mindset. My teaching style is to help my students find a style of practice that works for them so we will try various techniques and methods.
